Day Two - Plyometric Cardio Circuit

So, I’m a little embarrassed to note that I am one sore sucker. After one day…. after one fit test… And like, I’ve never been this sore before.

I finished my fit test yesterday, 

pushup jacks - 9
plank things - 14

And today I can barely walk.
I tried to do the Cardio Circuit, but I ended up half assing it, just standing there watching these ripped video guys finish their workout. Maybe I’m making excuses, but I kid you not, I can’t even bend over without it hurting. So, I did go out for a power walk in addition to my “insanity” day.  The puppy was appreciative; usually daddy’s the only one who will take her on longer walks. ha!

Well, 
I’m still feeling good about everything though because I’ve been eating really well the last two days. I’ve been eating more frequently, rather than two super meals like I used to. And I’ve been eating alot more vegetables and fruit. Also, I discovered Naked juice’s Green Machine. WHAT I LOVE IT OMG. Perfect breakfast. mmm

So. There’s my embarrassing Insanity fail. Here’s to tomorrow!

Insanity Day One - Fit Test

As it seems, I’m way more out of shape than one could tell. I guess when your days consist of Bravo reruns, Youtube, and napping, it’s hard to tell what kind of shape you’re in. 

switchkicks: 42

powerjumps: 10
(then shit started to get real)
world jumps: 5
suicide jumps: 2

And then my ears started doing this weird thing and I felt dizzy. So, I’m going to postpone the final bit of the fit test for after work. Which, I’m not sure if that’s not allowed or whatever. But I have work in an hour and I’m not trying to pass out. Which I would. Because I’m so out of shape it’s ridiculous.

I’m going to start the INSANITY workouts tomorrow (I know, I know. I’m the last one to the party). I’m going to document them here. Hopefully my love for complaining will keep me motivated.

OK - So.

I fell off the wagon, but guess what. I’m getting up. I’m dusting myself off. And I’m going to hit the ground running (literally?). I have a real goal here people - I want to be happy and confident come Halloween. I want to start eating healthy. I want to stop feeling like I need to constantly eat eat eat. And you know what? I believe in myself this time. No more feeling sorry. No more excuses. I heard somewhere, “Whether you believe you can do it or you believe you can’t - you’re right”. I will stop being the source of my failure. I will make this change. It’s all about being healthy. All about being happy.
